At Varanasi Book Taxi, we strive to provide reliable and hassle-free taxi services to our customers. We understand that travel plans may change due to unavoidable reasons. To maintain transparency and ensure smooth operations, we have established the following cancellation policy. By confirming a booking with us, the customer agrees to the terms mentioned below.
1. Cancellation Request Process
- All cancellation requests must be communicated to Varanasi Book Taxi through our official customer support channels (call, WhatsApp, or email).
- The time of cancellation will be calculated based on the scheduled rental date and pickup time mentioned in the booking confirmation.
- Cancellation charges, if applicable, will be deducted from the total rental amount paid by the customer.
2. Cancellation Charges (As Per Time Before Rental Date)
Cancellation charges are applied according to the number of days remaining before the rental date, as outlined below:
a) Cancellation Within 10 – 15 Days from Rental Date
- If the booking is canceled between 10 and 15 days prior to the rental date:
- 35% of the total rental amount will be deducted as a cancellation charge.
- The remaining balance (if any) will be eligible for a refund.
b) Cancellation Within 7 – 10 Days from Rental Date
- If the booking is canceled between 7 and 10 days before the rental date:
- 50% of the total rental amount will be deducted as a cancellation charge.
- The remaining amount will be refunded after applicable deductions.
c) Cancellation Within 0 – 7 Days from Rental Date
- If the booking is canceled within 0 to 7 days of the rental date:
- 100% of the total rental amount will be deducted.
- No refund will be provided in such cases.
d) No Show
- A No Show is defined as a situation where the customer:
- Fails to report at the pickup location at the scheduled time, or
- Is not reachable on the provided contact number, or
- Refuses the trip at the last moment.
- In case of a No Show:
- 100% of the total rental amount will be charged.
- No refund will be applicable.
3. Refund Policy
- Refunds (if applicable) will be processed only after deducting the relevant cancellation charges.
- Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used during booking.
- The refund process may take 5–7 business days, depending on the bank or payment gateway.
- Any payment gateway or transaction charges are non-refundable.
4. Booking Modifications
- Any change in booking details such as pickup date, time, route, vehicle type, or trip duration will be considered as a cancellation and rebooking.
- Cancellation charges will apply based on the date when the modification request is made.
- Fare differences arising due to changes will be charged separately.
5. Special Notes
- Cancellation charges apply equally to local, outstation, airport transfers, and multi-day bookings, unless otherwise specified at the time of booking.
- Customers are advised to review all booking details carefully before confirmation.
- In rare cases of natural disasters, government restrictions, or medical emergencies, customers may contact our support team. Such cases will be reviewed individually, and decisions will be taken at the discretion of management.
6. Cancellation by Varanasi Book Taxi
- If Varanasi Book Taxi is unable to provide the service due to unavoidable circumstances such as vehicle breakdown or operational issues, the booking will be canceled by us.
- In such cases, 100% of the booking amount will be refunded to the customer.
7. Policy Updates
Varanasi Book Taxi reserves the right to modify or update this cancellation policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately once published on the website.
