Kashi Vishwanath Temple is one of the most sacred temples in Varanasi.

Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat

Dashashwamedh Ghat is the main ghat and it has a very beautiful aarti in the evening. The language spoken in Varanasi is Hindi, but people prefer Bhojpuri as the local language.

Time for Aarti: The Ganga Aarti starts at 6:45 PM every day, so it is advised to reach a little early, around 5:30 PM, because you will see a lot of tourists coming from different places.

Sarnath

Sarnath is situated to the north-east of Varanasi, 13 kms away, where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon and founded the Buddhist Sangh.

Timings: Sarnath Museum is open from 10:00 AM–5:00 PM and is closed on Friday.
